David R. DeRemer

deremerDavid R. DeRemer is a postdoctoral researcher at the Research Center for Economic and Regional Studies, Hungarian Academy of Sciences. David received his Ph.D. degree in Economics from Columbia University in 2012 and an A.M. in Statistics from Harvard University in 2003. His primary research field is international trade, and he also has research interests in industrial organization, law and economics, and political economy. His research has been published in the International Journal of Industrial Organization. Previously, David was a Marie Curie Fellow at the Universitré libre de Bruxelles as part of the DISSETTLE (Dispute Settlement in Trade: Training in Law and Economics) network of the European Union’s 7th Framework Program, a National Science Foundation IGERT Fellow in International Globalization and Development at Columbia University, and a Research Associate at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.
